I guess the the one of the left would be doitsu B if the show had such a class unless there are too many rows of scales

looks like the one of the right is hikari mono...

So was I at least half right?

From the pics I'd seriously consider benching that first one in Ginrin

the second one as a shiney one color koi.

But that has to be wrong cuz from the pic it looks easy to me.

Gin Rin Platinum Ogon - Gin Rin, have not seen a AKCA Show with Gin Rin A or B separate. So, if it is AKCA it would fall under just Gin Rin.

Doitsu Platinum Ogon - AKCA Show it would fall under Doitsu.

    hi Tony,

we have had both ginrin A and ginrin B at Dallas.

I don't think the koi on the left is a doitsu but been wrong before.

I don't know about AKCA but....

Under BKKS rules both are Hikari-muji (no Grinrin B class)

Under ZNA rules as applied in South Africa - both Hikari-muji too,
even though they have two Ginrin classes (A and B).
    GR Hikari-muji remain muji.

However, I have this haunting feeling that I have missed something here and fallen into a JR trap.

    I'll wait with anticipation.

The left if Gin Rin (B) and the right is Hikari Muji.
