Every koi has it's day.

I have not seen his "facility" but he has proudly boasted of his tank(s)in the basement of his house. It sounds like a bloody sweat shop! Lori

Above 90 takes Koi out of permissive range and into immune carrier range. Below 70 takes them out of permissive range and into non outbreak range.
What a tool

One cautionary note to ALL.
There have been at least 2 different sellers who have used the word "Royal" in their ID that I've heard about. Be very specific to make certain no innocents get caught in the crossfire.

First of all, I am all for disclosing well documented cases of KHV and disclosing the proveable facts around such. That being said, this thread, IMHO has doen nothing but to cast a dark shadow on all dealers who happen to be in Maryland. So, I think it is too late to make sure that no "innocents" get caught in the crossfire. Innuendo does nothing but to cast shadows on innocents who may have but a single factor in common with the guilty.

Just my 2 cents.

Steve

I disagree Steve. I think that enough hints have been provided that ALL the dealers in maryland are off the hook except for the guilty one. All one has to do is go to Ebay, see which koi sellers have "Royal" in their name and it's easy to see which seller was involved. Only one seller has recent negative feedback....which cannot be read since they made their feedback private. Only one seller just pulled all of their own listings. There is really no mistaking which seller was involved here.

watercolors was the one started dealing with this man, I agreed to "try" him out with adding 1 Goshiki to the order. I did not actually speak with him until I went to help watercolors; (a 6 day and night stay). Medicated, documented, observed, magnified, scope.... at whits end I finally talked to him. that's when the bird poo came into play as causing death, and that also is where water difference came into play. (NOW i understand the water "problems" he repeatedly told watercolors about)

when speaking to him i knew he was not someone I ever would buy from again even if this turned out to be nothing!!!! To fast a talking salesman for me! and he talked to me as though I was to be yielding to the roar of I am man I am not wrong!!! I am NOT as subservient as some, nor am I PASSIVE, I guess he with his over talking could not understand I am point blank period and his hogwash was going to be tested!!! NO fool tat on my head!!!

watercolors tends to believe people and trust in the words spoken, I tend to listen intently and question often. ( not so trusting I require proof in most cases)
Back to my OCD..... can be a good thing

I fully understand Steve, and I hope any and all who read this thread now and in the future exercise good judgment as they make buying decisions. The fact that it is "now" easy to look for names, pulled listings, privatized feedback, etc... does not mean that the same will be true later. Buyers and Sellers do have ways to "sanitize" their feedback if they push the right buttons.

They can also come back later under a new name and email to erase the past...

Cindy,
I will respectfully disagree since I haven't a clue to whom it may be, based on the hints. Innuendos (hints) "ASSUME" someone else will gleen out the correct information when in fact only a handful may leaving others to "guess". We know what "ASSUME" spells.

The naming of this man from me is not such an easy thing to do! We have been threatened of a lawsuit publicly on e bay before feedback was set private. Feedback for this sale was left as I stated in previous posts. We put the lab and results on feedback, we also said he refunded our money.

If he doesn't want truthful feedback he should not be selling!!!
refunding the money should not be justification for an inaccurate feedback, and honestly the only way we could ALERT potential buyers was to post the TRUTH in feedback. it would be then their decision if they felt like proceeding with a purchase.

identifying the seller is not so hard, how many royal behinds run a temp controlled basement operation,(or garage) oh lets not forget the fast talking salesman! I might add being a woman buyer will add a new light to the sales experience for he makes a woman feel ignorant with his superiority complex. and lets factor into the equation when a buyer is unhappy the name calling begins, he has done this several times with his feedbacks... especially toward women!

I for one wanted the truth be known, however I had other things in my life to consider. ( I have an Autistic son and loosing our home is not an option for me) so having said that I do not believe innocent distributor's with Royal in the name have been compromised.!!!
