    up and running

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tERGu-zkV-Q

this is day 2. now i just have to do all the landscaping to make it look nice and throw in the filter media and i'll be done! filter media will be tomorrow because it's raining. don't worry, the fish have only been fed once and the water parameters are tested twice daily. my pressure filter should be taking care of the water until tomorrow when i throw the media in.

now i just need to buy fish
can anyone suggest any dealers for 12"-14" fish at a reasonable price? i do not need show quality fish but a pond quality fish that looks good would be great. i'm willing to pay up to $225/fish.

NO, you did not get to buy any more fish yet. ...I see 2 now, and what may have been the tail of a third? That's plenty for going through the cycling of the pond. Let's talk again in 6 weeks. Meanwhile, get ready for all the usual break-in issues.
