Talk about over a hundred years old...make sure you go early because all the retired senior citizens get bogged down on the Japanese bridge and the pedestrian trafic comes to a stand still like rush hour. When they get in your way, just push them into the lake. Helps promote innerself and universal truth.

It was a great day at the show, albeit rather warm. JR and Bob Brudd shed their judging jackets fairly early on. Photos next week.

The awards banquet is this evening. Rumor has it that the top 3 awards will be heading north to Orlando. We'll know for sure in a few hours.

Well there was an Orlando surprise after all.

Congrats to everyone -- especially Henry & Mike -- and thanks for the pics!

thanks Henry for posting, congrats to all...worthy champions.

When someone gets time let me know how this show differed from last year's.

This yr for example in the NW for the most part ( not all cases) most shows down in numbers but higher quality in bigger sizes. Just curious

Henry was just a little off in listing the winners. The Ai Goromo is co-owned with Carolyn Swanson, and the official record so reads. The award does go to Orlando. Carolyn does not care for the clutter.

It's difficult to compare, Dick. Last year the ZNA Southern Koi Association show was held in Naples on the Gulf Coast. This year, it was held jointly with Tropical Koi Club on the east coast. So, it is really a different show.

Congrats to all the winners. Henry The Showa was spectacular but the Sanke really caught my attention...... Lester your Kohaku has really kept its winning looks, glad to see it in the running. Million thanks to the judges. JR still looking forward meeting you soon, maybe in Orlando. I'm sorry I could not make it Saturday or Sunday. I would have liked to enter a few fishes..............Hope all went smoothly. Joe White you're a gem and thanks for your support during set up.
