    "parrot-mouth" suda showa

    Here's that one I posted all the time last year. She's almost 20"....we are keeping it since it looks fine swimming around...can't see the head issue unless it's bowled and still.

    bummer too....would have been a great one to grow out with that beni pattern.

    Nice pattern ethan, but the koi looks like it has down syndrome.

    I agree. The eyes are too far forward, and from the side it is quite obvious. Head issues are prevelant with Showa....although, it was encouraging to read the article about the mako showa that they are producing with breeding in magoi genetics....
