hi another great vid.is it your pond or a dealers.
i like the waterfall effect that you catch a shot of in the first few seconds.
is that an exit from a shower?

yes the exit of the filtering system, this filtering is special, a mix between trickle filter, japan mat and bead filter

Interesting filter design. it certainly covers the gambit of concepts. I like the pachinko design on the return plate! And only two drains at the return end of the sloped floor- very interesting.

On the chagoi ( former ochiba? Former soragoi?) there is no question that the fish has a massive girth and impressive length. And we all know that the 1990s has been about the one meter fish as the end all and be all. But for the sake of conversation, does this fish have a 'good' body?
I think it might be a bit too bloated to be a great body. The bone structure can no doubt carry the bulk but if you look at the koi swimming away it looks a few degrees or percent beyond a good body line?
Perhaps this is down to subjective preference and certainly a chagoi has a different body than gosanke-- but I think if this was a go sanke we would see it as too full a bodyline. Plump rather than full. Am I making my point? Indeed am I making any sense or just being picky? JR

your right what a filter system.it must be quick noisy though.the waterfall is a great design would look good on a outside pond just need to hide the rest.what media is in the trickle filter?does the jap mat get too dirty that it needs taking out to clean or does it get a good clean when opening the btm valves?
the bead filters look like they are fed from the other drain then just a chamber with the pumps in no vortex or sieve is that right.oh ive just noticed one bead filter goes straight back to pond via waterfall but the first one goes through the jap mat.
you said its a belgium dealer but the drawing is not from belgium so is this pond a copy of a japanese pond
sorry for all the questions im still learning
