So are these from selected pairings or a flock spawn? Also, are they doitsu/wagoi crosses? The appearance of he hi plates on a few of them leaves that impression.

I'd be happy enough to have those results from a backyard spawn, especially if it was an unplanned accident. Those don't generally pan out all that well

On most of these breedings I used my female Beni Kumonryu with a 3 males ,doitsu platinum and orange male, as well as a (kohaku Not a Doitsu), and beni kumonryu, I actually have a bunch (100) of babies from 09 that are so much better but are only 3-5 inches that I am raising and hopefully they will pan out like I hope

I tried breeding but it would have been a lot lower cost to buy from Matt at Quality koi. It is a lot of fun to try but not practical unless you have a proper seeded fry pond even if you have the best breeding pair.
    Regards

big koi are to expensive, If I get 10 good ones Im happy. I like to see the progress of breeding, for me the fun of the koi hobby is breeding, but every once and a while I break down and buy a nice one.
