    7y's kois~~~~~~~~~~~~kois with calamus

    Lazy summer is good for traveling. So less paintings was done. Here is one made today. See see

    Oh, I like that one a lot! Are you familiar with Cheng-khee Chee? Your work reminds me of a technique he does called a Saturated Wet Technique. Yours with the addition of Sumi ink though. I am working on getting that technique right but I have a LONG way to go.

    thanks for sharing! been missing the weekly water color fix.

    this one is one of my favorites so far. the koi look excited, gives me a "lift" towards the end of a work day.

    I know him and of course he dosen't know me. Saturated Wet Technique can play on watercolor paper but can't on Chinese Xuan-paper. It's extreme thin that can't wash back to white once being stained. So this is not Saturated Wet Technique. More complex than that.
