    Video

Mark thank you so much for this !

If you cant be there then no better way to learn at the hand of a master. I really appreciate his remarks, have watched it several times and will watch it more. I pick up different things each time.

For only 3 mos old I am impressed by their size, they compare very favorably with well fed food magoi in Israel, on size. What commercial feeds are they getting typically?

The sembetsu was awesome to observe, one day I do want to go and video much more.

That was worth every minute (as per usual)
A great way to start the day Mark. Oomo San's generosity with information about the selection process and color considerations is always good to hear and it looks like he has a good crop to grow on with some nice one's to go to market soon as well. As always, you are much appreciated

    selection by Oomo San

When he holds a Tosai in his hand and says its a Tategoi its worth more then just paying attention, and guessing wrong is one reason why I kept reviewing it, but after studying the 'keepers' (all were keepers to me) I could begin to see the balance and the stages of color development that he was looking for, all were of excellent conformation, for sure havent missed any groceries , but there is a very definite similarity of the twelve in the bowl at the end, there is no doubt that in the ones that went back into the ponds that there are going to be some spectacular fish, but I am equally sure that his valuation of his picks went up also.

A great lesson on selecting Showa Tosai. I really hope to see him on Kohaku and Sanke. Or anything else.
