Matsunosuke gin is a look. It has degrees of appearence from barely noticable to distracting. On some koi it can be an enhancement to the overall beauty on others a detriment. It would be rare these days to find any sanke breeders that have not used some matsunosuke genetics to some degree. Henry's koi is one of the lucky ones that has fabulous shape and size with very young looking skin and color. With or without the moderate rip of Matsunosuke gin on it sides it would not matter. It is an outstanding sanke. One of the best I have ever seen in America.
