    Kisaki Soon

Well, Davids wonderful gift arrived safely the other day and after a few days of settling in here is a quick look at her. Before that a few "Thank You's" are in order.
First and most obvious, David Soon for his generosity and confidence in me to do something right with this Koi. I promise I'll do my best to raise her right
Next on my list is Nancy Morales. She gave me a lot of pointers on making proper arrangements to bring her home to the good ol' USA and I REALLY appreciate her time and good advice.
Next, Devin and Mike at Koi Acres who went out of their way to help Victor and I with the physical shipping and handling arrangements from Japan all the way to the door.
Of course Daisuke, for producing such a beauty in the first place

First, a side shot of her still in the bag. The photo isn't much, but I wanted everyone to get a good look at her profile. That is one seriously powerful shoulder on a relative youngster.

Next, a short video clip I shot today. Very true look at her skin and color. Thick red/orange Beni, Sumi that is strong and building, fantastic Shiroji, excellent frame, and great Motoguro.

Larry, she's gorgeous! Her body looks fantastic and I really like her pattern.

I hope you post pics of her as she grows. How old is she and what size?

Her frame really is sweet isn't it Thickly built all the way through and the depth of her frame is just as strong. The pattern has a very interesting counterbalance of all three colors with sumi just about evenly distributed on the shiroji and the hi plates. I haven't re-measured her, but for the Oct 5 Auction she was listed at 52cm. Very good growth at only around 18 months old. Momotaro has really put out some exceptional Nissai this year both in terms of quality and size and I am one very lucky man
