    The article didn't say whether or not they regain the length when the temperatures go back up. And whether the percentage of shrinkage directly correlates to temperature, in other words, do they shrink more the colder it is? Also, at one point does the shrinkage begin? At a certain temperature or at a certain change in the normal temperature?

    Raises even more questions I hope they answer in the future.

    Thanks for posting that. Another reason to cover the pond in winter and try to lesson the effect of winter on the pond.
