Anyone have a DIY garden hose filter.

I was wondering if anyone has made a filter that connects to the conventional garden hose.

    Thanks

What kind of filter? For what purpose? To filter the pond? To filter stuff out of the tap water?

i think what the OP meant is a continuous flow system where a constant fresh water flows in at all time via a garden hose.

I meant just for water changes or filling up. Maybe a pvc pipie filled with carbon, or something like that?
