thanks for posting the link. Sanke is my favorite color variety and I really liked #50. I didn't see a kohaku that caught my eye.

    I also like #50 sanke

I really like the bodyline of #51
    I also like # 64

And #85 looks to me to be very high quality in terms of skin, beni, sumi etc.

I would anticipate seeing something here that would be a possible contender for the Wakagoi Show on 9th and 10th April.

Not getting over excited, perhaps Sanke 221?

I agree that 221 is a wonderful Koi. Great body line ( not standard spindle look more like showa) and like my tejima as opposed to pec's like geisha's (gloved hands). Can't wait for spring and your coverage,Mark!

I LOVE kohaku #46. If you look at the first beni plate, it's clearly a cat peering over the ponds edge looking at the fish. Complete with the swishy tail to tell you shes up to no good!

    Stuff like that... so cool.

I like #14 - I like simple patterns and I think it will look great when it gets big and has a huge wide mouth to shovel the pellets down.

I alos like a few of the fish on the tosai page - would like to see 173, 174, 192 and 196 in the flesh. How much do these fish generally go for?
