    Oh, was that yours Jnorth?
Sorry, I have read through and seen so many posts it's hard to remember everyone who has posted what. Yes I stole this picture of one of your posts to try to show my girlfriend not ALL bakki towers have to be ugly!
She liked it! A very nice creative job in my opinion!
Good job! You have helped me sell her on the Idea!

Sudan, Thanks for the GREAT thought of cermedia! After looking it up and watching a few videos, that stuff looks like the BEST stuff one could have! The only problem is it said $245 a square foot. That would cost me tons of $$$ just to fill up a bakki shower! BUT dang that stuff looks like the BEST STUFF!
    And Webted,
Thanks for the Video and the helpful hint! I just so happen to have a tile saw!!!!! this will work great thank you guys for all your advice! I really do like that (CERMEDIA) wished I had more money!
Water does really flow RIGHT through that stuff amazing!!!!!

    Hey Mike,

Hope the build is going well. Been busy as @$(*@ here for me so I haven't been on the board too much.

I've been using feather rock for about 2 years and the stuff seems great. No nasty smells, no fouling as far as I can tell, I do pump skimmer water over mine so it's fairly free of any solids so that probably helps.

cermedia does cost a lot. I got 2 boxes of the stuff and put in top tray. Still, not enough water was getting distubute right at top tray from spray bar. So on that note got a cutting board and drill a million small holes in it and place cutting board on top of the media. It works.... Zak has build some mini showers that really look great. Before you begin, take a look at his work.
