Congratultions to Tom Ayers for his GC. Also to brian and rinda for their RGC
and several other awards. Numbers down a bit....trend toward larger Koi holding again this year. Last coupla years numbers of smaller koi not as prevelent as before economic recovery.

GC was daughter of All Japan show winner alexandria .

    thanks to koi TV

just a little aside that our viewers may appreciate. The daughter of Torazo was on hand to see their fish take RGC. She graduates from school in oregon before the end of this year and will return home to the farm to assist operations and be able to speak english. Nogami has his son just starting his education in the states, again in oregon.

Once again I see a GinRin Matsukawabake and have to stop to study it. The best I ever saw was at the 2005 MAKC show. When this variety has excellent ginrin and a strong body, it is awesome. For some reason, GinRin Shiro Utsuri do not impress me as much. I think it is how the sparkling white stands out when it is a simple pattern on a mostly black fish. The GinRin Shiro Utsuri is too 'busy' in comparison. I'm not looking to acquire one, but if I came upon the right fish, I would not be able to resist.

Thanks for putting up so many photos, Antony.

We enjoyed seeing lots of friends & acquaintences and there were some wonderful fish, too. Much appreciated.

    Best wishes,
