    About time!

At last Brian, you have a board that my old Apple Mac seems to find agreeable! Congrats! The old board used to take forever and a day to load up on my 'puter, but this one seems really good. I'll have to come back more often!

    Best,

    Mike.

Just hold on a sec there you...I've got two Macs myself! Having UNIX underneath with the command prompt and bash shell at my fingertips is a dream come true!

I'm a perfect candidate for one of those Apple "I switched" advertisements, and I have to say...I never looked back!

    Mark,

Apple's OS X is based on UNIX, and is a lot more robust, faster, and stable than Windows. I've can say with a clear conscience that I have not ever completely lost control of the system due to a renegade application, and even when applications crash, recovering the file that you were working on is much better than Windows.

I'm an old UNIX hand, and appreciate the power of the command shell to do things without having to do click, click, click. It's also great to be able to run perl and php scripts directly from the included perl interpretor or from apache running on my G4! I simply love it!

    :P :P :P :P

I think Bill Gates is a Nishikigoi lover? Well anyways, the only Apple product I have is the Ipod and I think that is best thing...I take that back Larry Ellison is the one, can we all say "PeopleSoft".

I'd love to have mike post more! (most I've seen from Mark in a while too)

Mr gates doesn't live that far from me, but I've never heard that he has any interest in koi.

to me cars and computers have a lot in common. they get me where I need to go. I don't spend that much time with them and i don't have to have the best/flashiest one. Long as the darn thing works!

if i'm gonna invest time and money it's in shusui's (lol!)

    Hi Dick

This is a very old post (from 2003) that's been brought up top.

I look in but very very busy at the moment so get little posting time.
