    Birmingham & district BKKS show

the show was won by an american bred sanke from Purdin Koi farm. In addition a showa of their's also took baby grand. A third prize of best show tank
was also awarded, where 4 of the 6 Koi were bred by Purdin.
This is quite a feat and I want to congratulate TEAM PURDIN for their victories.

Congratulations to Purdin Koi Farm! When I visited the farm earlier this year, I was most impressed by their sankes. Bill and Maureen make a great team and wonderful hosts. Scott Purdin was also there to show us their breeding program. This is a major accomplishment for American-borned koi to win outside of the U.S. Any pictures of the winning kois?

Congrats to Scott, Bill and Maureen! Amazing... a domestic U.S.-bred taking honors at a BKKS show. I had not thought that would occur.
