Why not look for Koi in Canada? That's what I would do. I saw a real koi farm/dealer in Canada on youtube but I don't have the link so here is a sorry Canada koi farm link. The tosai does look like koi.

If you really want an American Koi, I can do you a favor by raising it for you. All you need to supply is the water bill, koi and food. I'll update you with pics once in a while and it will be raise in a mud pond. You can even visit your koi (by appointment only). PM if your intreseted, or anyone.

Given the koi is a koi and it won't kill my koi. Not responsible if my koi kills yours.

    Check with

They just got a nice group of Koi in December. It's very hard now to get Koi into Canada. Even hobbyists need an Importation Permit,... which requires an inspection of your facility, and a proper isolated set-up and quarantine period within your facility.

You need to contact your local Canadian Food Inspection Agency, CFIA. They are running the show now and thats who will issue a permit if they deem your QT good enough.

Nice pond fish that you sold them. However I like the one male Kohaku show fish that you bred they are asking over $2000 for it, I will compare it to my Momotaro fish may be one day we will have a show
