Just one question, how does one go about catching a fish in a pond of those dimensions? Drop the water level, round up your buddies and you all go wading in with a seine?
Couple gallons of bleach and they get real easy to catch

    Just kidding.

Why bleach? I would go dynamite! A lot faster and much easier. Just light one up, drop it in the pond and wait for the parts to float up.

Kidding aside, rumor has it that Nathan has hired scuba divers w/ spear guns. Whenever he wants to catch a koi, he points to it and the scuba divers taze it with the spear guns and up floats the koi........

Okay, okay, all kidding aside....I honestly don't know. I am sure that they would have to use a seine net.

I am still curious to know the filtration for this pond.

    thanks for sharing the video.

The size is very impressive. I've seen pics of Ryan's pond and it's content
    also catches my attention.

If we compare pond size to automobiles, this wonderful waterfall spectacular is like a limo. Without my japanese garden and bonsai around mine, it would be considered more like a two door economy model

The size of the pond is awesome. Kudos to the owner. But the waterfall might be too big and too loud. It might not bring about a feeling of peace or serenity to the koi. To me, a koi pond is much more enjoyable when it is quiet.
