I like No.3 Showa. Nice streamline bodyline, great sumi pattern, big and broad head.

tosai showa 2, 27 would be fun to see develop
nisai show 5 is just a beast I think she will be quite a sight when she has gotten bigger

Nisai showa #2 for me, please. Love the bone ridge and overall frame of the koi. Wow, what a stunner!

I like the 2 and 27 tosai showas as well as some other tosai as hopefully next year I will bid on some tosai . The size of the fish is amazing as well.
It would be fun to have about 10 in my mud pond
    Regards

SFF's auction is done, so on to Momotaro....

I do not recall ever seeing an Akame Kigoi as impressive as the 98cm gosai. If I was ready to spend at this level, she would be my first choice among the offerings.

Among the nisai, the 57cm Sanke #1 is my favorite. She could reach a meter and has such nice brightness and immature pigment. Very straight, even body lines. I really like her.[DickB: When you picked "Sanke 54", did you mean the 54cm Sanke #4?.... I'm curious as to your reason for picking her over the long-bodied ones.)

There was discussion of cosmetic alteration of some of the SFF auction koi. I do hope Momo's Kohaku #2 is not acquired by someone who wants to 'improve' her in that way. She is a 2-step who is actually almost inazuma, with the atmosphere of a 4-step. I find this pattern much more interesting than the actual 4-step #3 Kohaku.
