    stable
    do not mess with up and down stuff unless you are to low

    6.8- 7.8 . test your tap water and if it is within that range, use water changes to maintain it there. JR

    Beginner way is to throw a lot of baking soda into the water. This will keep it at 8.3 ph I believe and it is very stable.

    Is this good for the koi? I think its ok if you don't know how to manage water because unmanage water will have ph swing or crash and you will lose all your fish.

    Learning water management is the better way. Relying on a crutch, a person may not learn how to walk.
