    Pump storage?

What's the best way to store my inline pump without ruining the seals? I'm starting my pond build today and will be taking the QT down. I have a PerformancePro pump running on that QT that will be in storage till I get the pond built and I don't want to have to rebuild it when I try to use it again.

I would put it on a shelf in the garage. I would also write to the maker and ask them for storage tips.
