Hi JR, I just got an ORP meter and found my ORP to be between 250-275 during the day. By a rule of thumb, it is considered relatively clean. Yet it is not between 300 and 400, which by the same rule of thumb is very clean and healthy.

My water temperature is 28.5. Could I be so bold to ask you to tell me how much more it could go up to be at the "very clean" point?

Thinking about how I could increase the ORP after all tests pass: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, kH, gH, TDS, except for phosphate at a high 5 ppm which I can't seem to do anything about.

Would lowering phosphate do much good? Is it worth the trouble?

Also wondering if you could tell me at what point does increasing aeration reach the point of diminishing returns? Does it stop when the aeration allows the DO to reach saturation levels at the pond bottom?

I've also set my pump flow rate to be where I get a full pond cycling in 2 hours but I've read elsewhere that the cycling should be done in 1 hour. Will it help to increase my flow rate since my ammonia/nitrite/nitrate already are good?

And lastly, not to pressure you at all, when do you plan on touring the country for book signings?

Bumping something related to oxygen saturation levels. I thought it was a good read.
