Niigata Breeder's Auction, more eye candy

Look at all the varieties available! I want to be there!

Which one will fetch the highest bid? I don't see an asagi that would get $2 million yen this year....

thanks for posting. What tickled me was IMHO, some questionable calls on the color variety. The best of which was a kanoko asagi and a few haijiros. Maybe you have to be "new school" to "see' it.

Not often that you see a Shiro Bekko like the one from Hashino.

Any U.S. dealers going to be there?

Thanks for posting. A very nice bunch of koi with a bit of almost every variety included. Would be great fun to attend a event like this. Some very nice quality koi included.

Wow that ginga from Tanaka near the top is really attractive to my eye.

The 72cm Isa Showa has a trait I have not seen before, or I've not noticed it. The head has a yellowish flesh tone color of the sort that often remains throughout the life of the fish. But, on the tip of the head there is a true white patch. The impression is of white pigment on a flesh-toned head as if the white was a danmoyo step. Curious.
