    I think most backyard breeders can do the same, make a consistent effort to breed, observe and repeat. If you spend a number of seasons, repeating the breeding and be studious with notes and observations, anyone can do it. I do it with all of my spawns of babies each year. Even if you only keep a few, those observations will teach. It is easier than breeding a few million fry and trying to follow the progress of all of them

    really like the looks of photo #2. With your sharing, I get what your looking for in your tategoi. can you imagine not knowing what you've shared, folks looking at these koi and what they'd be thinking! It helps so much to be able to communicate with the breeder.
