They cannot wait to see their hand selected 5"inch fish grow on.

    Garfield.

    PS Bio degradable money.
Its not about patience. There are many wealthy collectors that buy and gamble also on very expensive tosai and nisai. 5 inch is too small for any average collector to gamble nowadays and too small for breeders to let go the ones with future at that size. Its more about ego and wanting what others cannot afford and what quality others cannot buy.

Indeed it is a serious burden I am willing to accept for others.

I have a mukashi ogon nisai, from a pond spawn, likely from my yamabuki and a chagoi - Metallic and dark brown. Nice body.

From a school of 50 fry from 2 years back (coming off a koi show and two koi spawning), I have culled and given away many to have only eight left. Pond not going to fit when all these grow up.

I asked Devin Swanson what this koi is, and he said it is a mukashi ogon, saying that mukashi was used in the opening screen of Star Wars for "long time ago." I asked is it a popular koi, and his reply was that it's making a comeback. Shades of "Empire Strikes Back," and it just reminded of Darth Vader. The metallic armor and the dark brown skin would make Darth a proud owner of one.

Anyway, I'm giving it away since I already have a very dark koi that is larger than this one. The other koi is a confused koi, because it doesn't know whether it wants to be a karasu or a chagoi. In my pond, it is charcoal black, but in a blue show vat, it becomes dark green and became a chagoi. When Devin saw it in my pond, he also called it a karasu.

I'll gladly give it to a koi keeper in Manila who really knows to take care of koi, by my standards you know
