    Hi Reza,

"Aragoke" simply means Doitsu scalation. Karashi have some of their origin in Doitsu, and sometimes you'll see erratic scalation in them that harks back to these origins.

No, Doitsu karashi will look different. Aragoke means that phenotype for Doitsu scalation appears in a few random scales in which they can be mostly larger (sometimes smaller too) than surrounding scales and ruin the symmetry. Doitsu scalation is more orderly than aragoke. "Ara" comes from the word "Arai" means rough or crude, and "goke" or "koke" is an alternate pronunciation for "uroko" or scale.

When used with karashi, it's meant that a few scales were throwbacks to Doitsu scalation ruining an otherwise nice looking karashi.

You can see koi for sale (other varieties) called "Aragoke" that are Doitsu without much symmetry in their scalation. I don't see the attraction as they look like the type of koi you sometimes see in temple gardens in Japan.

I'll probably breed a set of Karashi in late spring, so I'll try to take some photos that can show you what I mean about the scalation.
