What if?

You had $100K and you could buy koi from any 2 breeders be it from Southern Japan or Niigata....Which 2 breeders would you buy from with $100K? Mind you this money fell from the sky so dont worry...but mind you can spend the money at only 2 breeders.....:)

Bob Winkler 05-25-2005 11:25 PM

Isawa Sakai and Igarashi Kazuto .....

keokoi 05-26-2005 12:56 AM

How would you compare Shintaro Sanke with Momotaro Sanke? Since they both use the Matsunosuke bloodline is there any difference?

Damn! I missed that trip E-San! I thought the majority was seafood at Maeda's house...??

I love Seafood!!!!

Anyhow I wish I had all the money and was Koi Kichi like Bob Winkler.... LOL

Well since I skipped that trip I went to Niigata before the quake and got to dinner with these fine folks and breeders..

Good question, seeing how I only have Kohaku's at these breeders I cant realy answer. Most of my koi are Kohakus, the only Sanke's I have are a couple from Hasegawa, photo of one enclosed.

Chris

KFG, I like sitting on the floor. It stretches my stomach out a lot so I can fit more food in it!

The book is written in Romanji (sp?) and english... So I am all good there.

Dan Blatt 05-27-2005 04:49 AM

I, like Keo would opt for Ogawa gosanke...kohaku and sanke's...flowery and unusual( like my avatar which is a 25 inch Ogawa female kohaku).
