    hatching time ?

Just recently put some string algae that was loaded with eggs in a crate that the fish cant get to, checked the string algae today and eggs are gone, they couldn't have hatched already could they? water temp is mid 70's , 24 C, noticed the eggs and put them outa harms way 6 days ago. thanks, any general idea on time would be good enough for me.

thanks DB.... knew somone would know and I knew temp was important.... we shall see if I can locate any fry as that is quite a bit faster than I expected and fear that anything swimming might have ended up getting caught in the skimmer, o well there's always next year with this years new knowledge.
