From my understanding you can add it same day.. No waiting of course you have to put dechlor and such in it for those who have such city water but no such leaching into the water. Pretty much good to go....

is all the filtration hooked up and ready to run? What is the filtration and pump set-up? Congratulation on having water in the pond you must be jumping for up and down. How much longer before koi? I can't wait for that day to come it is taking forever to build my pond.

Everything will be up and running this evening, I hope, after I get home from work. I'll take some pics. I plan on seeding the filters and waiting a couple of days before putting any fish in. I probably won't wait! (maybe just one, or two?)

    More pics on Akinsans pond

Well, I found some time today and decided to downsize a few pics of akinosans pond.

Any requests for process let me know. ( don;t get carried away) LOL

A few pics of prep work around edge of pond. Also some maksing on retaining wall behind pond. This is a spray but I found out its not at all messy as it sounds. I think the biggest part of the day was the prep work around the pond...

here is Jeff. he is testing the gun.. 2nd pic he sprays on dirt. This is not the way it should be done. The correct way is to use it with the geo textile as they have done with this pond. The geo textile adds strength and make the pond very smooth as well.

Just to clarify that was testing the gun on dirt. This is not or should not be the way you spay the final product..
