Well Tategoi- She's here. Showed up about an hour ago, maybe 930a PST. Fully 36" and 11 years old and looking quite well, thank you, taking possesion of an 8' tank all by her lonesome.

    Mickey,
Do me a favor. Take a pic of her. Is that Duke's Kohaku? Tell him I say Hi to him. I hate myself for not being able to attend the show.

Yes Bern, I spoke at length with Lynne and Terry and was even shown a pic of you in Holland looking quite the ruffian.

Odd weather here has put hats on the dudes.

    See.

There are a lot of the blue hats that say Genki. I don't think the weather is responsible for the mustaches though. I am hesitant to take pics of the groovy girls and post them here, but yep, there are womens here too.

Did they finally open up the area so people could actually see the fish? That irked me somewhat, the tape was so far back that you could only see maybe 3 fish out of the entire 31 tanks. I left after just a few minutes today and went somewhere where I could have some fun.

I came with my family and a friend in the morning when it was taped off to the public. Then we hit the malls and returned in the late afternoon when I was able to see the whales, er... koi fish.

I'll second that Antonio! Larry did a great job putting the first inaugural ( I hope ) show together, and it was great that it pulled people in from all over. Everything seemed to run flawlessly, the banquet was great, good food with good people. Mike, Mulberryjen's hubby did a great job of singing karaoke! The quality of the fish was unreal! Very tough competition!

It was great meeting Ryan S, Mulberryjen & Mike, Mickey The Widowman, Auntiesue, Bob Winkler, Mark Whalen, Bill from Mystic, and many others I am sure I am missing.
