I like my Sakuma showa. I have been real happy with the growth of it. I have been thinking about getting another Sakuma koi. This time I think it would be a Kohaku since I have one of his showa's.

Tom how old is this fish and how big was it when you bought it. I like alot to me buying a showa is hard at a young age. Would like to buy a 2-3 year old but just can't afford right now have found a 1 year old that i like from this breeder and can afford and it may be fun to watch grow. Thanks for everyones input. Marc

    Sakuma showa

Here is a tosai Sakuma showa I bought in late spring this year. Measured 20cm in May. It will interested to see it's development in the next several years.

Beautiful! I'd love to see a picture of that one in a couple of years.

    Sakuma

That small showa is awesome. If it stays together it has it all-shiro, body and layout.

Bay Area suppliers are Genki Koi and Champion Nishikigoi. Don know who do South? Most likely Eastern Nishikigoi does too...
