    Hi


    I did live in Houston at the time Gilbert headed in that direction. Had never been through something like that, and was glad it passed by just because the way everyone was frightened.

    Hope that it just weakens before hitting the coast. Still have a lot of friends and schoolmates there.

    I learned three things from Hugo:
    1) the last people to evacuate do not have to deal with all the taffic, but can still take their time;
    2) storm surge and falling trees destroy more stuff than wind;
    3) if you are not in the storm surge zone you are unlikely to die.

    My sisters are in Corpus Christi but think they will probably miss this bullet.

    Brett, Dont stay in your house! Get your butts out, look what happend in Louisana you dont want to be stuck with no food or water, or even yet get killed. Get out ok. If you get killed we will miss you forever, if your missplaced it wont take long and you will be back.

    Heck. Texans are tough and they ain't no chicken shiites. I went to hurricane Ivan just for fun and I was in the eye and then the hellish east side. Brett, just get yerselves out and up under a highway overpass on higher ground ifin it gets bad.

    the worst I can see happening at any fish farm in Tx is that they flood and all fish swim off
