It is definitely an eye-catcher. Leave it to Hosakai to produce one the best I've seen. If I thought that would hold for 4 or 5 years, I'd be asking Russell for a price quote. I'm really curious about a koi that is akame and has blue-black dorsal scalation with underlying 'blue' sumi. It is too much of a gamble for me when I know I'd lose interest as soon as smudging appeared. But, are the risks less because it is akame?? A really interesting potpourri of genetics in that fish.
