    Which of these KOHAKUs do U like better ?

    Opinions on these 3 KOHAKUs, rate in priority order plus/minus ? Kevin

    Ok, the third one is Sakuma? How about First and second before ranking?

    Good edges the pattern looks like it will improve and the best conformation...

    I am waiting for the breeder info before ranking. But I have to agree
    with you that the # 2 has the best body conformation.

    My selection for myself would be #3. I prefer a big pattern for a big fish.

    I have to say that I have seen all the Kohaks in person....This is how I rank them to my own personal taste...Kohak #3 is #1, Kohak #2 is #2 and Kohak #1 is #3...

    First one is Maruyama. The second is Dainichi.

    I like them in the same order as aquitori, 3-2-1.

    From these pictures, I think the Dainichi has the best of body conformation. But for color and pattern, the Sakuma has it all. So, in general, I have to agree with Tony and you.

    Well, I did not want to post the breeder too early for bias reasons. Personally, I like the Kohaku in red or even grimson red instead of orange against very white Shiro. I also don't like the Kohaku with the step too close to the tail and red under the eye.

    Yes, the Sakuma does not have the odome. But it i sjust a minor point that can be overcome by other....

    For me, Hi has different tones, as long as it is a good hi, i take it.....
