Antonio, just about every hobbyist had some bad experience, as usual its always your best one that go. 1996 lost 75% of my collection all my best ones that were all over 24 inches, just learned from that, regrouped and started over once again.

Like JR says that this is one hobby that keep us humble.

Just learn from this and you will come back stronger.

Glad you checked in with us. Hope you are serene during your "think time."

Hey-THE KOI UNIT NEEDS YOU! I hope the rest of the lot does better and sooon you can relax and enjoy the pond. At some time in the future maybe you can restock. Keep on writing-we all have these tragedies and we all need reminders. Hope to see you at the shows.

    Hi Tony,

Just to make you feel much better, I had lost no less than three hundred kois in my koi's life. Yes, it is 300.

I think you will be ok pretty soon. I guaranty you that your addiction for nishikigoi will override your feeling in a very short time. I know for sure that you will have many more beautiful kois swimming in your pond again.

Its hard to loss friends that you come home to every day.For me it was the labor of love for those koi that I have lost and spent so much time looking after, the ones that could have been. Go forward and help keep this hobby alive so others can see and enjoy what we have.

    Rewind button

Tony - It sure would be nice to have a "rewind" button for life sometimes. I hate that this happened to you. Know that your friends are thinking of you and that we're glad to see you back on the board again.

Red face I am sorry for your loss

I have missed your posts as of late, but I am glad to hear you are moving forward from your tragedy. The best thing you can do is use this as a learning expeirence. Perhaphs you may at least be able to gain from your tragedy.

Damn dude, didn't know that happened! Sorry to hear that madness. I too killed a fish that I had high hopes for from chlorine. It was in my QT tank and was given a lot of love. I was so mad, I threw it in the street and a car ran over it! That's the past and will hopefully never happen again. Sheet happens bro! Remember you are one of my mentors, so don't let me down man! You go, we all go....
It's my B-day this weekend, don't know what's in store? First glimse of what's to come I'm callin you. I'll show YOU a good time for my birthday bruh!

    All love bro
