Why is the KoiPhen show so expensive?

Clicked the banner and the room rates for the show are pretty high, regular room is like $159 show price. I was thinking about going, but too expensive.

    Expenisve is a relative term

$159 per night...yep a tad more exspenisve than a typical room at a typical show. But then again, how many shows in the US have been held at a World Class resort? $159 per night at a world class resort? Pretty darn cheap really, especially when "in season" for the area. There are many other hotels in the Nashville area that one can choose from as well.

Oh, BTW, the normal room rate at the Gaylord Opryland resort is $259 per night.

They have an alternate hotel that's closer to $90 that provides shuttle service to the opryland hotel.

To me, the venue chosen seemed a little odd for a koi show, but it might be interesting.

    I was SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!

to see how cheap the hotel rate was for some of those Cali Shows...I thought California was expensive....alot more expensive than TN, and somewhat more expensive than FL. So how did that happen?

That hotel is cool. We toured the lobby when we were sight seeing in Nashville.way back when. We went to the visitor's center to look for things to do because neither of us had been there and it was recommended.
