DIY Barrel Filters...

Here's a pic of my current filter setup. All together I have 500 gallons of filtration area for my 2,500 gallon koi pond. Details on how to build my filter system are available on my website, http://www.josephandgabby.com/pond.

J&G: For those interested in DIY projects, your site is an education on pitfalls and successes. Have you thought about trying a DIY moving kaldnes filter next?

When I visited the US in 1991 Barrel filters were all the rage at the Ventura County club. Here's a couple of diags that I scanned from Koi USA at the time.
