How many minorities apply?

As for ther AKCA judging program, in the pastthere have been Hospanics and African Americans. Currently there are a numbers of female judges and one judge of Asian decent.

The question is not how many are in the judging program, but how many do the individual clubs activily recruit and develope to meet the entry requirements, such as, chairing a Koi show.

or how many "minorities" are keeping koi, and what percentage of them as compared to the percentage of the whities.....

And the appreciation for koi? Isn't "appreciation" a cultural aspect of an individual....Not many "Majorities' appreciate chitllins or chicken feet. Cultural taste is the reason, not the Majority excluding the minorities.

Just one question, what's a HOspanic? Are you insinuating all hispanic are hoes? I didn't think so.

Why was this thread brought up out of curiosity? I personally seriously doubt there is racism in the area of folks becoming judges. It takes a huge personal investment to become a judge more than anyone or anything 'blocking' it. Maybe a few of the judges or club leaders might have some racial tendancies or programming, why bring the subject up in this context? Would you like to become a judge? Or do you work for the ACLU and think you found a way to get some $$$?
