I didn't know that, but then again I was a 'no show'! So people in glass houses can not throw stones! LOLs
Vicky is a lovely person. Smart, talented and generous with her time from what I've heard. I know Spike, REC and some others are very big fans and that is good enough for me. I got some heat a while back for 'going after her' which was not my intent. I simply questioned a rather high fee paid ( IMHO) for attending an event she was in change of. That post was the thing that got the "Open Letter to JR" posted on KoiVet until REC was able to negotiate a truce with the Large Vet. Ironically, I like Vicky very much and see her as a professional. But not a fellow hobbyist. And as a consumer I made what turned out to be a very unpopular comment about what I saw as an expensive course. I also made the mistake of suggesting Vicky was not a vet. THAT was a BIG mistake, and as it turned out, an unforgivable comment. This was seen as a cruel and vicious shot at a much loved individual, true or not. So I paid the price and we moved on. No big deal. And I hope that Vicky is not too upset still.
My post over on the other koi board, of course, was a joke/parody. Still I wonder if the Board members of IPPCA know what is happening and if they endorse or even encourage such Hot Air behavior? JR
