Woohoo!! I'm number 1! I'm number 1!

I'd like to thank the Academy and all my friends that have generously supported me over the years to allow me to become the 1st Cayman Islands Koi Club Member of 2008. Lee should I come down sometime around February to pick my up my award? I'd have to leave the frozen tundra of Virginia around that time of year but I can make the sacrifice .

Seriously though I'm going to "sticky" this thread as its a good cause.

Those inquiring about 2008 Cayman Island Koi Club pins...

Dear Koi pals...

Your money is going to save a lot of koi lives, I am certain of that...

However, you shall need to contact Dale Torok to get on the list for the new pins. Yes, I am having them designed and manufacturered. And, it is Dale who has assume responsibility for their sale.

He is the guy you need contact for a pin...and, to make your donation.

Incidentally, he still has some 2007 pins...for those who want a matching set.

Remember, the money is all going for a great cause...finding the cure, for research and for education about KHV.

With hugs to each new Cayman Island Koi Club member...

From the hot tropiks'

Cayman Island Koi Club Pins

Dear Graham,

There is a rumour now being circulated that there may indeed be a meeting of the Cayman Island Koi Club membership during the Orlando Koi Show...

In fact, the membership committee is attempting to now secure an auditorium at DisneyWorld (or an appropriate Gentlemen's Club) of sufficient size wherein the members attending could hold that meeting.

As you are aware - there is required club attire for every club meetings...I am afraid I don't know whether this rule will be enforced or not in Orlando as it is in the Cayman Islands...

However, if 'club' rule #two is enforced, I suppose you can find a large enough towel to cover all of your exposed body parts, yes?

OH, Graham....as for the availability of pins at the Orlando Koi Show, we have not received confirmation whether Membership Chairman Mr. Dale Torok of Lexington is going to attend or not? However, I have no doubt that if he should still be incarcerated I am certain he will empower the assistant membership chairman to bring with and to sell the club's 2008 club pins.

Graham, as you are aware there are club officers names now being placed in nomination for the club's 2008 election, perhaps, you would you would like to identify the position which you are most qualified to place your name in nomination for...Thus, if so, please do so soon, as along with pin sales, club officer nominations for 2008 are also being applied for with great rapidity.

In fact, should any authorised member now want to place their name in nomination for the Cayman Island Koi Club's officers for the year 2008, all are welcomed to commence to now do immediately...

Dat b wit mi respects, mon'

One love,

Lee Aronfeld

Hmmm....I am afraid a meeting at a "gentlemen's" club would not be of interest to many of the female members of the koi club.

Nope....not bilingual or bi-anything else. No translation necessary though; although I do not speak the language, I do understand it .

Oh my gosh, what a tragic misunderstanding!

Whoa, there young lady~

What was meant by a possible site for the Orlando Club meeting as - a Gentleman's Club is that 'only' Gentlemen and Gentle WoMEN, are invited and shall attend the Cayman Island Koi Club meeting in Orlando (or wherever the club' meetings are held).

I am deeply sorry for the misunderstanding. And, I respectfully apologise for my ignornace and error in having incorrectly typed the proposed site as I did...

I hope the location and proposed site is now far clearer to you and the misunderstanding is now forgotten. Imight also mention that the other site which had been suggested was Goofy's Home at Disney World. However, the members already took a vote on that venue and they felt that those attending were already Goofy, enuff'!

As to the meeting itself, you and your towel are as always most sincerly encourged to attend 'every meeting' of the Cayman Island Koi Club along with your 'club pin'...whenever or whereever the meetings are held!

As a more worrisome and looming issue - is the where the pin is to be officially sited? That question has always been a membership problem. As for the location of the meeting - that has never been a problem before, as previously all club meetings have been only held in the Cayman Islands.

Of course, it is not the name nor location of the meetings venue that should be an issue for any authorised attending member. Don't you agree?

Nonetheless, I am most humbled and sorry for the misleading location name for one of the proposed Orlando venues.

Obviously, I need be far more clearer in future posts. However, as we know the site of the meeting has always been the responsibility of the membership chairman, Mr. Dale Torok.

However, FYI, Dale is suggesting that the club banquet be held mid "Spring" in Lexington Kentucy..at this convenient address: 600 Old Frankfort Circle.

We understand it's where Dale spends his time...

(Me wordy,not!)

Hugs,

Lee Aronfeld
