    Marudo Harvest - Koi Acres

Mike Swanson started sending photos of Marudo's harvest. They just got there a few days ago. I don't have all the details yet, but hope to be able to fill in later.

    Enjoy!!

I think tomorrow they harvest the 3 year olds. I'll double check that though. I was amazed to see a large crane hoisting up a transport tank from the mub pond location!!!

Of course I fell in love with a few of those Shiros!!

Wow. What a pond! It's beautiful even with the water drawn down. Obviously really needs the crane to get them out. ....although, Sue, I guess you may not have noticed since you were so focused on the Utsuri.

    Thank you Sue.

Devin told me there were harvests going on Oct. 22-24. I don't know if those harvest got moved up or if they are just additional ponds left to go. Thank you for the pictures. Who is the girl in the pictures?

Mike, for all I know I could have gotten my wires crossed as well. I'll double check that tomorrow to be sure.

Here are some details Mike sent me last night.

"The shiros are from Yamasan Koi Farm- they were his best 3 nisai to grow out. Wait till I send a photo of the Marudo Sansai Sanke we purchased last year!!! The Kohaku & 4 Showa's are Nisai Marudo, the platniums are Chogoro."
