    Russ, Any chance the seminar may be recorded, or transcripts made of the event?

    Hi Ed,

    I am sure it will be no problem. Dan Cheng recorded the last seminar. As long as it is not duplicated and sold for profit.

    I think someone sitting at the front table on the left side of the room made a recording. Erwin or Larry might know who, they were in that table.

    I just took pictures at the seminar although I recorded the fish in the judging exercise portion of the event. Here they are if you guys want a trip down memory lane.

    Day 2 - I thought I posted them here but I guess I must have forgotten. It's at KS - Matsunosuke Seminar Day 2 - KoiShack

    Nice-looking pin

    Have you already made them up? You misspelled Camellia.

    Hi Carolyn, No that is a picture of a draft. We will make the correction. Thank you for noticing it.

    Good one Carolyn!

    Course someone who's used to picking GC's would be expected to pick up on

    Just in from Miwa Sakai!

    I asked Miwa to send a Bio about Toshio Sakai and here it is;

    Toshio Sakai was born in Mushigame of Yamakoshi Village in Niigata Japan. After his apprenticeship of Koi breeding under his father, Toshio left Niigata for Isawa to become an independant Koi breeder. He founded Isawa Nishikigoi Center at age 18. He succeeded the first breeding of Matsunosuke Sanshoku in Isawa. The offspring of the original Matsunosuke Sanshoku have received numerous awards. Among many, Chiba Grand Championship, Saitama Grand Championship, Kanto Koshin-Chiku Grand Championship, and All Japan Nishikigoi-Kai Kokugyo (national fish) awards and Grand Championship.

    While developing solid award records, Matsunosuke Sanshoku siblings continued to spawn for over thirty eight years and continued to produce numerous award-winning champions of Matsunosuke Sanshoku. His Goshiki received the first place award for five consecutive years and its siblings produced the champion fish in Koromo, Budo-Koromo and kawarimono.

    His Challenge continues to be the production of Koi with further improvements in size, quality and long lasting beauty. He has served as the member of director of All Japan Nishikigoi Shinkoukai.
