As far as coming down there and try to catch those 3 Koi , What's the Temp. there Today ? Were stuck in the 30's here !

Both the Sashi & Kiwa Look weak . Sashi seems very uneven & the Kiwa has that Saw Tooth Look . I hope it pulls back and not fall totally apart .

But for $30 each , you kicked Azz !

Whazzamatta U Luke. Looks like you've been takin' photography lessons from me and winkie
Photographic skills aside, for $30 each... ya done plenty good. I couldn't begin to put a present value on them, (fuzzy pictures), but the sashi/kiwa does seem a bit problematic in places. At this age it's kinda tough to tell if that is really a long term issue, or just stretching in your always warm water... It could very well tighten up again in a few years when they slow down their growth rate... or not

What is mystifying me is the first beni plate on the fish in pics 2 & 4. The kiwa seems to skip a scallop, but what scallops are there are nice and appear deeply colored. The sashi looks jagged in some places too. I don't understand, that's why I mentioned it.

Marie! You can take better pics than my crappy ones, I'm sure. Come on down! Me and Luke'll snag em for ya.

I would be confident with 14 inches as their general lengths and wouldn't be surprised to find they measure at 15 or 16. Luke has these modestly underestimated I believe. In person they glow and they keep Lukie Mon excited.

The kiwa on the first plate is weird as can be and you can't take your eyes off it. My assumption is that this fish will come apart or come together in the next growing season...spring. With great and repeated effort Luke has trimmed the numbers down in the Lake while making more improvements to flow and filtration. Should be one heck of a season.
Mickey the windowman, the world is a very big place.

Aquitori says Keokoi says "even sun shines on dogs ass..." so I say... Buy Ugly Early.

If you cut a piece of cardboard to 14in and float it on top of the water to use as a comparison you will be surprise yourself how accurate you can be .
