    Thanks Nisei Koi Farm

Yesterday, I and others visited NKF for the first Koi Seminar of the year. Topic was Selecing Tosai Tatagoi, I need all the help I can get, so I never miss a chance to hear Matt talk about Koi or to look at beautiful koi. He spent a lot of time carefully going over the points of the fish he had selected to demonstreate how he grades each level of quality. We were treated to a nice lunch and spent time looking through the greenhouses at all the fish . Thank you Guys, had a great time,,,and looking forward to the next event. Sorry I don't have any pics to share, but maybe someone else who was there might . Thanks, Joyce

    Joyce,Joyce,Joyce.....

As I soon learned when I mentioned I visited Mat, "Everyone wants pictures! "

My kohaku that has been under their care for the last two years comes home this Thursday. I'm excited to see her as i didn't get a chance to go back to the drainage this past fall.

I really like the crew at nisei, and glad you had a good time, can't ever remember any trips back there that I didn't enjoy.....( I couldn't suggest you carry a camera next time without posting something akin to what I suggested so here is my "Tara" named after
the lady there with the same name)

It was nice meeting you Joyce!! I had such a wonderful time. I learned SO much this weekend, and bought 3 new fish, including a very high grade jumbo tosai showa. she is such a nice 4-step. She will stay there in the mud for a while. Here s a few pictures. The last two are of my girl.

Whenever I see those thousands of tosai.... I'd never have the patience to sort through and pick just one.

    Nice little Showa.

Carrie, I am sure I did. I probably even have a picture of her. Got a picture? I'll look thru my pics and see if I got her.
