    Show Us Your Koi Nobori

In a couple of months Golden Week will happen in Japan, along with the flying of koi nobori for the sons of every family on May 5th. Do you have your koi nobori ready to fly when the weather permits? Do you even have a koi nobori?

Here is mine, still in Japan but will be 'flying' here next week:

Kintaro rides the mighty carp up the falls to heaven....

Hope my flag pole can handle this one

I wish you did too. What a shame. They're not so easy to come by.

Look at those! They come in every color, don't they. Thank you, Junichi-san.

Is there a meaning attributed to the different colors?
