First of all, I'd like to say that my thoughts are with Joel and Kentaro while they're dealing with this setback. As devastating as it may be, hopefully some of the stigma will be removed and there can be better transparency at all levels to keep KHV in check.

Concerning your HAH comment Jim, this is the same guy that was posting elsewhere and making fun of my surname? Sousa = So-USA? I questioned his age and maturity level as well. Couldn't recall being called names like that since elementary school playground days.

Edit: I think I have ya'll beat on the name calling over on IPPCA, Hawley, R D Johnson and even Dave himself have had some "comments" regarding both Cheryl and myself....so I kinda chuckle now but I loved Larrys description of IPPCA.

I have been following this thread for a while but have not had a chance to comment. First of all, my thoughts are with Joel and Kentaro as they try to deal with this issue. I have purchased koi from Joel before, and I commend him for his professionalism. I have been in the hobby for about 2 years now and have not heard of any KHV outbreak. But all of a sudden I heard of several outbreaks over the past couple of weeks.
