Koi can survive temperatures over 90F for a short period if the water is well-aerated. In 700 gallons you will have difficulties with more than 3 koi, even with heavy aeration. Filtration needs to be attended to, and get any glarf out of the pond. Rotting debris uses up oxygen, and during such high temperatures the good bacteria are at low ebb. Do not feed either. Such a small pond can not handle the fish waste when temps are high... over 85F is my idea of 'too high'. Some will say 82F. However, despite all of this, the koi weaken considerably and are prone to become infested with parasites. You need to shade the pond to keep the water temperature down. Really... you need to shade the pond. Been there.
