    New Koi Book From Japan

Ken at Eastern received a copy of this book from Ogata yesterday, It has to be the best book I have ever seen on Nishikigoi, this book contains the whole package of this great hobby.

Just so you know / another option

    Nancy,

Russell Peters (on another board) mentioned that he was going over for the All Japan Show and ask anyone who was interested to PM him and he will pick one up for you (for the price plus shipping).

    So what is the difference?

I was thinking we could do a group buy on Bito, I will arrange for them to be shipped over from Japan, that way everyone can save on shipping cost , anyone interested let me know, I will get in contact with Japan.

    Well; since you asked...

One of the "threaders" asked him if he could get the books signed by the author. He mentioned "he could ask".

I believe the one guy asked if Toshio Sakai could sign it if I am not mistaken, unless Toshio is the author of the book then maybe that's what he was talking about....

Anyways, I guess people have options now on how to get the book. A group buy would be good, if Nancy could arrange it I would do it.

You right, it is Toshio Sakai; one of, I believe, the editors for the book. My apologies if I lead any astray (like that's going to happen with this group)

Hey Nancy, can you have Ken ask Ogata to sign my book? Next year I am going to make it a point to have every breeder associated to this F'ing book sign it....

note to self: that was a lame idea, read the book and learn from it. Koi related autographs arent worth shiyt!!!

authographed book is good for auction and as collectibles. If the signature is really worth that much. Best to read and apply what has been read from the book.
